Lightning Stikes

No one would believe if i say I have seen a ball lightning as it is often regarded as a fantasy or a hoax.
I remember when I was around 4-5 years old and back in my home town Anuradhapura, a ball lightning has entered the front door of the house and exited in the kitchen door. It was like a 5-6 cm diameter glowing spherical object which moved 3-4inches above the floor.
I was shocked, and looked at it until it disappears from my view. As I remember Chama (my younger sister) also saw that.
However, cannot guarantee her memory as she was too young.

Today, I saw a lightining during the day time from my office window, which reminded me of my childhood experince.
When I was searching about this mysterious object, I found an interesting book, which is available in Google books. Worth reading!
